Job Description

Overview / ResponsibilitiesWood is currently seeking to recruit a PMC Senior Pipelines Engineer for ADNOC Gas Processing - pipeline portfolio project. Successful candidate must perform below duties;

  • Review and understand the scope of the pipeline components of the PMC Contract
  • Work and be familiar with the pipeline specifications of the PMC Contract
  • Deliver the contract scope of work relating to pipeline SOW management
  • Maintain pipeline components of design plans and update to reflect any changes to project requirements where applicable
  • Participate in PMC pipeline procedures development and review EPC Contractor pipeline management plans and deliverables related to project requirements
  • Coordinate, clarify and facilitate the provision of pipeline advice to the PMC package Project Managers
  • Develop appropriate tools to monitor EPC contractors? pipeline performance and confirm project pipeline requirements are achieved throughout the construction phase
  • Participate in and provide advice to pipeline incident investigations as required
Skills / Qualifications
  • Minimum of 15 years? experience in major oil / gas refinery / petrochemical projects in the capacity of senior pipeline engineer with engineering contractor / PMC organization
  • A Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Must be fully conversant with international pipeline codes, standards, recommended practices and regulations and their application to large oil and gas projects
  • Must have contributed to design and safety reviews and ensure that the facilities to be constructed will be safe to environment
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • HSE awareness and commitment
  • Prior PMC experience an asset
