The Planning Manager is responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and monitoring of business or project plans to ensure objectives are met efficiently and effectively. This role involves coordinating resources, timelines, and stakeholders to optimize performance and support organizational goals.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement detailed project or business plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of plans with organizational objectives.Monitor project progress and performance, identifying risks and issues, and implementing corrective actions as needed.Lead the planning team and provide guidance to ensure accurate and timely delivery of plans.Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management on planning status, milestones, and forecasts.Analyze data and market trends to support strategic decision-making.Facilitate communication among departments to ensure efficient execution of plans.Manage scheduling tools and software for project planning and tracking.Support risk management and contingency planning activities.Ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements related to planning activities.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, or a related field.Proven experience (5+ years) in planning, project management, or corporate strategy roles.Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.Experience in risk management and resource planning is a plus.
