The Planning Engineer - Civil is responsible for developing, monitoring, and controlling project schedules to ensure timely completion of civil engineering projects. They coordinate with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to plan project activities, track progress, and mitigate delays.Key Responsibilities:Develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar planning tools.Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to define project scope, milestones, and deadlines.Monitor project progress and update schedules regularly to reflect actual achievements.Identify potential delays or issues and propose corrective actions.Analyze and report on project performance metrics.Ensure that project activities are executed according to the planned schedule.Assist in resource planning and allocation.Review and analyze contractor schedules and progress reports.Support risk management activities related to project timelines.Qualifications:Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field.Proven experience in project planning & scheduling within civil construction.Proficiency in planning software such as Primavera P6, MS Project, or equivalent.Strong understanding of civil engineering construction processes and methodologies.Good analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
