Job Description

Overview / ResponsibilitiesWood is currently positioning for an Offshore Maintenance Services contract in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The Services comprise the provision of maintenance services of various offshore Equipments. If awarded work, we will have several requirements for Key Positions to join our team in country by June 2022.We invite expression of interest for a Planning Engineer to join our team to be accountable for Preventive maintenance, ad hoc Corrective maintenance and emergency maintenance servicesPlease note that at this stage, applications for this role are invited as an Expression of Interest (EOI) whilst opportunities are being fully determined.Job Responsiblities

  • Prepare the Campaign Plan?s and Campaign schedule (Both Short Term and Long term)
  • Adapt the Plan / Schedule based on site conditions and make recovery plan proposal to reduce the impact due to changes.
  • Synchronize the Job Plan?s (Maintenance Plans) between the different trades so as to avoid multiple trips to Wellhead tower?s as well as plan to carry out PM tasks on same Equipment by different trades in an Optimized manner avoiding prolonged / Multiple downtimes.
  • Prepare Plans ensuring Campaign backlogs are avoided.
  • Levelling of Jobs to ensure that campaign workload is averaged (to avoid Lean or Peak POB between Campaigns) keeping in mind the due date for HSECES and Other Integrity Job Plan?s which cannot be deferred.
  • Informing through Campaign Engineer to Company the Static Equipment PM?s activities that have Inspection activity to be performed by Company Inspection / Integrity Team. The same shall be done at least 7 Days before the Campaign
  • Consolidate daily activities to inform Company Job officer on issues related to PM campaign jobs that would require Corrective work orders / Notifications to be generated.
  • KPI Calculations
Skills / Qualifications
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent engineering degree
  • 15 year?s minimum experience in Integrity monitoring, control and project execution, with 10 years? experience in related projects / works in the Oil / Gas offshore industry in Campaign Mode.
  • Good communication and Project Planning skills.
  • Coordinate to identify Support Services (Scaffolding, Insulation Removal, Painting, Lifting etc.) and Material requirements for Jobs.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office and Computer applications like MS Project and CMMS System such as SAP (Fiori).
  • Capable of Synchronizing PM activities of different trades in same Equipment?s / Locations and provide Look ahead plan?s.
  • Good knowledge of International Standards & Codes
  • Fluent in English language
  • Computer literate
  • NACE certification is preferable
