About the RoleSupporting the recovery of claim amounts from defaulting retail customers through strategic management of civil litigation and repossession, ensuring maximum recovery and minimizing provisions.What Youll Do:The Manager role exists to lead and oversee the EI in-house retail delinquent portfolio across Islamic products by directing the filing and execution of civil litigation cases. The Manager ensures enhanced recovery, optimized operational efficiency, and strengthened compliance while building high-performing teams and strong external partnerships.The unique contributions made by the job holder are:Lead and supervise the full cycle of civil case procedures to secure favorable judgments for the bank.Drive recovery of bad debts through both litigation and structured settlements.Strategically allocate new cases to law firms and manage legal counsel performance.Ensure robust documentation, archiving, and compliance controls across all civil actions.Oversee invoice management and approval processes to ensure efficiency and cost control.Represent the bank in high-level discussions with experts, courts, and customers.Provide strategic direction and support to EI Legal and EI RCR teams on case strategies.Negotiate settlements with customers while ensuring inclusion of civil litigation costs.Assisting EI Legal whenever required in cases filed against the bank.Coach, mentor, and evaluate team members to enhance performance and professional growth.Conduct regular reviews with law firms to ensure accountability and optimal outcomes.Contribute to organization’s financial performance by achieving financial targets expected from the civil litigation.Direct team to achieve and exceed recovery targets via litigation and settlements.Anticipate and resolve complex case issues, ensuring efficiency and fairness.Strengthen compliance frameworks, reducing risks and protecting bank interests.Adhere to bank’s policies and code of conduct/ DisciplinePropose and implement procedural improvements to streamline litigation processes.Ensure timely preparation and submission of MIS, reports, and expert meeting outcomes.Lead, coach, and develop the civil litigation teamIncrease recovery rates and minimize provisionsDirect interaction with law firms, experts, courts, and customersStreamline processes, reduce costs, and improve efficiency.What Youll Need :Graduate7–10 years in Collection & Civil Litigation, with proven leadership experienceUAE National with a family bookAdvanced communication, negotiation SkillsLegal process management; strong banking knowledgeStrategic thinking & Decision makingTeam & case managementBanking Laws & regulatory ComplianceStakeholder communication & negotiationRisk assessment & mitigation Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).What Youll get:Competitive SalaryBonus based on the annual KPIs achievedHealth insuranceCareer development opportunitiesENBD Employees staff benefitsYou will be redirected to the company website to apply for this position
