Responsibilities:Prepare piping material specifications, valve datasheets, and material requisitionsSelect appropriate piping materials based on service conditions and project requirementsEnsure compliance with international codes and standards (ASME, ASTM, API, etc.)Coordinate with design, procurement, and construction teams to ensure material compatibilityReview vendor documents, technical bids, and provide recommendationsSupport resolution of material-related issues during design, procurement, and constructionMaintain material traceability and support QA/QC processesRequirements:Bachelor?s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalentMinimum 5?8 years of experience in piping material engineering, preferably in EPC or oil & gas projectsStrong knowledge of piping classes, material selection, and international codesFamiliarity with material management systems and 3D design integrationExcellent communication, documentation, and coordination skills
