Job Description

About this role:

• Development of project basis of design, technical queries, and active participation in the stage of data gathering from Clients
• Identifies scope/design changes and inform them in timely manner to the Lead Engineer
• Maintains permanent communication and interface with piping lead, project team and piping engineering design team
• Attends meeting with Clients, Third Parties, etc
• Maintains high quality of all technical documents related to piping department, supports the piping team assigned to the projects
• Ensures all piping deliverables are being issued fully aligned with all other disciplines like process, civil and instrument
• Preparation/review of specifications for piping discipline such as piping classes, general piping specifications and all other specification related to the discipline
• Preparation/review of drawings for Equipment Locations and Piping Routing and Layout for oil and gas Onshore and Offshore facilities
• Preparation/review of all piping drawing deliverables such as Plot Plans, Piping General Arrangements (GAs), Isometrics, pipe supports drawings and all other engineering drawing for Onshore and Offshore facilities
• Preparation/review of piping material take-off and assurance of the correct management of the document in case of changes
• Preparation/review of piping documents such as Line List, Tie in List, Valve Data Sheets, Special Item Data Sheets, Material Requisition and Technical Bid Evaluation for piping items
• Preparation/review of the final Vendor drawings and assurance that the documentation is in full compliances with project specifications
• Co-ordination with Materials, Stress Analysis and 3D modelling design groups
• Participate in 3D models reviews
• Carries out site visit to Client facilities as required Site survey and data collection, system adequacy checks
• Liaises with designers, Inputs for 3D Model in the preparation of drawings and details
• Attends all the Company organized training courses when invited
• Site/Construction support and resolve to site queries
• Is aware of Companys QHSE Policy and Integrated Management System Is aware of and obeys the Company QHSE rules and perform the activities required by relevant procedures on these issues.

• Around 8 years of professional experience in oil and gas processing facilities engineering design, including field engineering
• Experience in feasibility studies, conceptual design, FEED and detailed design in natural gas and/or crude oil processing facilities
• Minimum one year of experience in brownfield/greenfield Offshore facilities including site visit
• Academic Education to BS or equivalent level minimum in Mechanical Engineering from accredited University Postgraduate degree will be an advantage
• Strong technical knowledge in the relevant discipline in the execution of major Greenfield and Brownfield projects in Onshore and Offshore
• Experience and knowledge of PDS (Plant Design System), PDMS (Plant Design Management System) and/or Smart Plant 3D, input/output documents and Model review
• Strong design and analytical skills
• Problem solving
• Good verbal and written communication and presentation skills
• Wide knowledge of relevant technical and design software packages
• Communication/ Report writing skills
• Teamwork
• English Mandatory.
