Oman International Hospital is seeking a compassionate and skilled PICU Nurse to provide specialized care for critically ill infants and children in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). The PICU Nurse will monitor patients closely, administer treatments, and collaborate with pediatric specialists to ensure the best outcomes.Key Responsibilities:Provide direct nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients, including post-surgical and trauma casesMonitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and neurological status continuouslyAdminister medications, intravenous fluids, and life-support interventions as prescribedManage ventilators and other pediatric critical care equipmentDocument patient care accurately and maintain detailed recordsEducate families on patient conditions, treatments, and recovery plansCollaborate with pediatricians, surgeons, and multidisciplinary teams to plan and adjust careAdhere to infection control policies and hospital safety protocolsQualifications & Experience:Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalentValid nursing license to practice in OmanMinimum 2–4 years experience in pediatric critical care nursing or PICUPediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications preferredStrong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
