Job Description

Paint Technician x 2 | Dubai & Abu Dhabi | Al Futtaim Auto Center | Global Aftersalesverview of the role

  • To ensure that the assigned paint repair jobs are executed in line with Principle?s established work procedures and specifications, time standards and housekeeping standards so that the overall objectives of productivity and quality are met or exceeded.
What you will do
  • Operations-Execute assigned jobs according to principle?s established work procedures, specification and time standards.
  • Quality: Provide quality workmanship for customer satisfaction. Minimise repeat jobs, which lead to loss of time and material.
  • Comply with the ALAC Quality Management System and participate with organization?s improvement activities
  • Safety and Housekeeping ?
  1. Ensure use of safety equipment/gear and follow all safety and environmental conservation procedures
  2. Ensure cleanliness of the workplace, tools, equipment and of the customer?s car being serviced.
  3. Carry out work with care ensuring not to endanger the life of either themselves or others by theirs acts or omissions whilst complying with health and safety requirements of the company and preventing any harm to the environment.

Pro Paint technician (Level 2)
  • Carry out level 1 repair and above.
  • Surface preparation II (Complex surface)

  3. Masking methods
  • Paint composition and characteristic
  1. Paint composition and characteristic
  2. Paint film quality due to spraying condition
  3. Spot repair methods of metallic & coat mica
  • Color matching II

  • Plastic parts surface treatment and painting
