Our team of over 400 engineers and developers are empowered to develop cutting-edge technology every day.Careem was established in July 2012, became a wholly-owned subsidiary of Uber Technologies, Inc. in January 2020, and today operates in over 100 cities across 12 countries.About the teamWe are looking for a passionate Ops Manager for Supply Performance (Food) to take the lead in driving critical KPIs of existing/new categories, and support strategies for our centralized market operations. You will be working closely with Head of Operations and COE leads to execute and drive high impact results in the markets. It?s a critical role for the success of Careem and includes several dimensions.As a Senior Manager for Performance, you will be owning and executing strategies to improve reliability of Food services to ensure best in class customer experience while working with all stakeholders like Operations, Product, Strategy and other touch points.What youll do

• You will be the mission critical leader in central ops, working closely with the other COEs to guarantee supply performance and leverage deep analytical insights to deliver high impact results.
• Working closely with Senior leaders and City operations in driving the strategy and execution of plans to deliver on Goals
• Analytics and data drive everything we do: source, transportation, strategy, decisions and people.
• We are building multiple networks: restaurants, users and drivers (captains). You are responsible for quality, performance, reliability and optimization of these.
• Your key responsibilities will include Reliability of service, Retention of captains, Engagement initiatives and budget spend.
• You will be responsible for scaling to new markets and going deeper into existing markets and execute new launch strategies for green field markets, etc.

• You?ll be working in the location you?re hired from. Due to legal and compensation considerations, you will need to be based out of the country you?re hired from as your primary work location.
