Manage content metadata for all assets of MBC linear platforms
Ensure metadata requirements for linear platforms are met before broadcast dates
Check the editorial accuracy of broadcast schedules within given timescales, resolving any issues found prior to publishing
Check the technical accuracy of scheduled data within given timelines, resolving any technical issues found prior to publishing
Support last minute changes on linear platforms and ensure accurate information at all times
Create, translate and transliterate content metadata
Candidate will have to populate other metadata fields according to Metadata Classification list
Provide metadata reports to line manager
Requirements:
Bachelor?s in Mass Communication
Excellent content writing and communication skills
A passion for movie, drama and entertainment is desired
Minimum of 1 year?s experience in content writing preferred
Experience in the media and entertainment industry relating to one or more of the following areas - metadata management, digital video and audio, asset management systems/platforms, multimedia formats
Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task under shifting deadlines within a fast-paced environment
Self-motivated team player who is results-oriented
Excellent in translating between English and Arabic
Excellent in summarizing English and Arabic synopses
Articulate, organised, and enthusiastic with a keen interest in content writing
