Manages the Meetings & Events team membersand supports the Head of Department in implementing training plans, coachingand mentoring team members.? Maximises revenue and guest satisfaction byreceiving Meetings & Events Sales enquiries and related room reservations? Supports the smoothrunning of the M&E sales department, where all aspects of the hotel?spro-active sales initiatives are delivered and total revenue maximised? Upholds a high level of regular, frequent,accurate and timely communication to all related departments regarding theMeetings & Events Sales function within the hotel? Delivers on plans andobjectives where sales initiatives & hotel targets are achieved? Supports the Sales teams in generating leadsand referring business by analysing current business, denied business andidentifying potential new business through the office? Delivers a pro-active sales culture within theOffice to ensure all budgeted revenues are achieved? Follows-up with guests to determinesatisfaction; measures results and supports strategies to improve the qualityof the guest experience? People developer/exporterRequirements of Meeting & Events Manager:? Proficient in all Meeting & Events Salesprocedures to be a resource when needed? A proven track record in a similar role withina quality environment and to be able to demonstrate excellent standards andteam member management? Commercially aware? Commitment todelivering exceptional guest service with a passion for the hospitality industry? Driven and ambitious to inspire the team toconsistently deliver and exceed service standards? Clear thinker with excellent communicationabilities and attention to detail? Strong working knowledge of Opera Sales &Catering?
