To supervise and manage the mechanical maintenance activities in the plant, including preventative and corrective maintenance, planning for shutdowns, and overhauling work activities; organizing maintenance, troubleshooting and modification of all mechanical machinery in accordance with overall maintenance plans, HSE guidelines and quality standards to ensure plant availability and machine reliability.Maintenance ManagementMonitor the mechanical preventive and corrective maintenance and overhauling work activities to ensure safe and efficient application of procedures and implementation of optimal mechanical maintenance.Ensure that all documentation is completed in SAP correctly such as the Log, outlining the fault, method of repair and the time, labour and materials used in order to support timely availability of information.Manage the timely response to all emergency breakdowns and provide prompt corrective action to ensure plant availability, thereby minimizing downtime and possibility of liquidity damages.Develop and promote a condition based preventive maintenance culture on day to day basis by conducting troubleshooting and root cause analyses, finding solutions to reduce reactive maintenance.Minimum Qualifications:A Bachelor degree holder in Mechanical Engineering.7-10 years’ experience in Mechanical Maintenance either in water desalination and power generation plants, conventional plants, renewable plats (based on plant) where 2 years of experience are in a supervisory role.UAE/Emirati with Family Book is preferredSkills:Practical experience and know-how of mechanical engineeringKnowledge of downtime analysis and practical knowledge of problem solving toolsKnowledge of maintenance management methods, of predictive inspection tools and of CMMS (Computer Maintenance Management System, good knowledge of SAP Template desirable)Project ManagementDetailed understanding of preventative/predictive maintenance theoryMentoring, coaching and people management skillsKnowledge of the operations in water desalination and power generation plants and of NOMAC operationsStrong planning, organizing, and integration skillsTeamwork and effective collaboration skillsYou will be redirected to the company website to apply for this position
