Position Overview:As a Secondary Teacher at this leading IB school, you will:•Deliver engaging, student-centred lessons aligned with the IB framework, fostering critical thinking and inquiry-based learning.•Inspire a love for learning through creative and differentiated teaching strategies.•Promote holistic development, including the academic, social, and emotional growth of students.•Collaborate with a team of committed educators to design and implement cross-disciplinary projects and initiatives.•Maintain up-to-date knowledge of IB practices, ensuring alignment with curriculum standards.Key Responsibilities:•Plan, deliver, and assess lessons in alignment with the IB philosophy and subject guidelines.•Create an inclusive and stimulating learning environment to support diverse student needs.•Incorporate technology and innovative practices to enhance learning outcomes.•Develop and assess student projects, assignments, and presentations to reflect high academic standards.•Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and professional development opportunities.•Communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and school leaders regarding student progress and welfare.Qualifications and Requirements:•Education: A bachelor’s degree in the relevant subject area; a teaching qualification (PGCE, B.Ed., or equivalent) is essential.•Experience: At least 2 years of teaching experience, preferably within an IB or •international school setting.Knowledge:Familiarity with the IB curriculum is highly desirable; candidates should demonstrate a commitment to inquiry-based learning.•Skills: Strong communication, adaptability, and the ability to inspire students from diverse cultural backgrounds.•Languages: Proficiency in English is essential; additional language skills are advantageous.
