The account management role offers the unique opportunity to own a sizable portion of category with respect to launching and managing new selling partners and driving key programs for the assigned category. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a passion for independent, creative problem-solving, have proven data analysis skills, show strong ownership/commitment.Primary Responsibilities: Developing a thorough understanding of the market segment, seasonality and global trends/events, and continually monitoring competitor efforts. Managing end to end relationship and performance for top souq.com marketplace sellers/category in your portfolio. Managing end to end relationship of strategic groups along with expansion of their portfolio available to souq.com Working to develop new products based on Amazon data, market trends and customer needs analysis, and build business cases for each Exceed your targets for revenue, selection and customer experience metrics (cancellation rate, late shipment rate etc) for the sellers in your portfolio Collaborating with and influencing a number of internal and external stakeholders such as supply chain, sourcing, marketing, legal, tax, product compliance. Understand and resolve seller issues by working with internal and external teams. Minimum 5 years of experience of B2B account management in ecommerce, consumer internet or retail industries. Good knowledge of MS excel and its functions. Experience using metrics to drive business decisions Functional knowledge of Arabic and experience in Middle East is a big plus.. MBA from a reputed institute is desirable Excellent written and verbal communication with attention to detail. Comfortable rolling up sleeves to execute initiatives, perform quantitative analysis and reach sound conclusions Skilled in managing multiple simultaneous projects requiring frequent communication, organization/time management and problem solving skills
