Job Description

Role : Manager Process Re-engineering & GovernanceLocation : Abu DhabiRole Purpose:This role is responsible to manage overall Governance management of ADIB Home Finance Operations, financing and disbursement process including after sales Services. It entails the following processes from roles and responsibilities ensuring effective operating function to support retail business, including managing the team of 2-3 staffs members reporting into him.

  1. Governance of e2e financing and disbursement of customer request up to AED 450m monthly
  2. ADIB compliance to CB UAE regulations and guidelines for home finance business
  3. Robust risk and controls framework supporting the critical high ticket size business HF deals
  4. Sharia compliance to policy and associated sharia board fatwa?s
  5. Effective & satisfactory control and audit review
  6. Digitalization & process improvement to improve / enhance customer experience
  7. Re- engineering of the Home Finance Process
  8. Attestation of all the Controls Performance Metrics
The said role is critical to lead and manage governance, in order to contribute in achieving ADIB?s vision and strategy to be the key and successful player in the local and international market in home finance domain.Key Accountabilities of the role
  • Identifying opportunities and taking action to build strategic relationships, working effectively and cooperatively establishing and maintaining good working relationships with stakeholders and team members.
  • Managing the governance of end-to-end Home Finance transactions to ensure in compliance with the terms and conditions of the credit application.
  • Complete Adherence with Sharia law and ensure processes are aligned in line with ADIB Sharia guidelines and regulatory guidelines.
  • Embedding controls to ensure that the transactions are processed with proper due diligence as per ADIB?s Financing Policy guidelines.
  • Ensuring product level UATs on projects of Home Finance that includes system parameter change, integration, strategic projects considering end to end from Operations perspective.
  • Ensure existing controls related to Home Finance Unit operations are maintained tight and high quality operational and administrative controls.
  • Ensure staffs have been nominated for necessary trainings and management programs to improve their capabilities.
  • Managing Home Finance transactions, fulfillment and maintenance activities, ensuring effective and timely action for better customer?s service and experience adhering to service delivery standards.
  • Periodic review of operational processes to improvement efficiency and controls thereby to enhance customer?s experience.
  • Monitoring and keeping Department Budget within the allocated limit.
  • Identification of root causes for complaints and setting the best innovative solution to make the process smoother and developing new ways to deal with problems & opportunities
Specialist Skills / Technical Knowledge Required for this role:Banking knowledge, Master/bachelor?s degree Home Finance product knowledge, Core system knowledge, End to End Implementation experience for high business volume, Advance Excel, Strong communication skills, Effective leadership, and undisputed ability to manage and lead team to get into the job and meet prescribed deadlines is a primary quality.
