Since delivering our first order in Kuwait in 2004, we?ve grown quite a lot over the past 17 years.Today, we deliver hundreds of millions of food orders, grocery items and other products per year, to our customers in nine countries throughout the region with more than 3,000+ employees! Since its inception in 2020, we have facilitated the donation of well over 1 million meals to those in need, as well as donated over $1.5 million to charity with the help of our partners and customers. talabat is part of Delivery Hero, the global leader in online food delivery and q-commerce.Role SummaryAs our Manager Partnerships - MENA you will improve and develop the different models for talabat to engage with partners, and you are responsible for the vision and regional management of talabat?s logistics partners (3PL, Government Entities and other corporate organizations). You will oversee talabat?s framework for contracting, managing and auditing our fleet partners / vehicle providers and develop new alternative logistics partnerships by building such relationships. You will implement the framework and new partnerships through and alongside the local logistics teams in each of our markets.What?s On Your Plate?

• Build, maintain and own a strong relationship with all key partners (3PLs, Government entities and other corporate organizations) across all talabat markets.
• Develop a strategy for talabat?s engagement with our logistics partners, including commercial strategy, contract management and key negotiations
• Implement initiatives (incl. org design) to improve the overall way of working with our partners, to help them grow into and develop as strategic fleet partners to talabat
• Set high standards and drive compliance of our partners, through active contract management and audits
• Be in the driver seat when it comes to developing new logistics partnerships within the industry
• As required, liaise with authorities and regulators in the different markets to represent talabat?s delivery ecosystem, shape discussions and create opportunities for the industry
• Work closely together with our local logistics teams and other regional teams such as Legal, Public Affairs, Finance to implement all of the above

• Great at networking, relationship building and developing winning partnerships, while demonstrating leadership and authority with our key partners
• Strong commitment to enforcing standards, ethics and compliance
• Hands-on, enjoys fact-finding and going beyond theoretical frameworks
• Extremely organized and process-driven to enable effective management of internal workload and expectations across a large set of stakeholders
• Excellent command of English and Arabic
• Willingness to travel up to 50% across MENA

• Good understanding of the last mile delivery ecosystem
• Affinity with (labour) law and liaison with authorities
