Job Description

Our Clientis a leading bank in Abu Dhabi looking to build out their GRC division.Your Responsibilities

  • To manage the governance and compliance regulatory requirements of the bank within Corporate and Investment Banking (CIBG),
  • Taking day to day responsibility for the gaps in adherence identified during both internal and external compliance audits
  • Oversee the end-to-end implementation of identified improvement areas
  • Provide support, advice and guidance on Corporate Governance Framework, processes and other regulatory requirements in order to gain their commitment and understanding to the changes required
  • Collaborate on related queries to ensure confirmation of agreed resolutions are issued in line with the requirements and process
  • Support the team in ensuring adherence of the requirements in timely manner in order to respond to related activities quickly, effectively and within agreed turnaround times (TATs)
  • Conduct internal quality assurance audits, identifying improvement areas and overseeing the implementation of the compliance updates in order to ready the department ahead of an external audit
Your Qualifications
  • At least 5 years of experience preferably in the banking industry in a support function
  • Bachelors Degree preferably in Business/Banking or equivalent
  • Excel, Word and MS Office skills
  • Written and spoken English
  • Working knowledge of the current regulatory environment
  • An understanding of corporate governance and risk management
