Job Description

BackgroundIMGS Group is looking for an ambitious Logistics Coordinator to provide support to the Operations Department by managing all aspects of port and cargo operations including the receipt, storage, and distribution of cargo by rail, sea, or road. Must have a valid UAE DRIVERS LICENSERole & Responsibilities:

  • Managing daily activities involving cargo discharge /loading; the operations of equipment and/or cargo under IMGS Group command.
  • Will also be responsible for initiating/developing/maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders and labor organizations, administration (Including operations of stock systems).
  • Primary point of contact for all vessel related operations (i.e., ship, broker, agents) and initial incident notification.
  • Working with a team of supervisors and port workers to ensure all operations are undertaken safely and efficiently to customer requirements and IMGS international standards.
  • Addressing and resolving shipment and inventory issues.
  • Liaising and negotiating with suppliers and retailers.
