Job Description

Job Title: SAP Logical Access Management SpecialistResponsibilities:

1. User Access Provisioning: Administer user access to SAP systems by creating, modifying, and disabling user accounts based on business requirements and authorization roles.
2. Role-Based Access Control (RBAC): Design and implement role-based access controls within SAP systems to ensure appropriate segregation of duties and access privileges for different user roles.
3. Access Reviews and Audits: Conduct regular access reviews and audits to ensure compliance with security policies and industry regulations. Identify and rectify any unauthorized or excessive access.
4. Authorization Management: Manage SAP authorization objects and profiles, ensuring that users have the necessary access rights to perform their job functions while maintaining the principle of least privilege.
5. Security Policies and Procedures: Develop and enforce logical access security policies, standards, and procedures for SAP systems, adhering to the organizations security guidelines and best practices.
6. Security Incidents and Investigations: Respond to security incidents related to SAP access, conduct investigations, and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
7. User Training and Awareness: Provide training and awareness programs for SAP users on logical access management practices, including secure access practices and password management.
8. System Upgrades and Patching: Collaborate with IT teams to ensure that logical access controls are maintained during SAP system upgrades and patching.
9. Integration and Single Sign-On: Work with technical teams to integrate SAP systems with identity management solutions and implement single sign-on (SSO) solutions to enhance security and user experience.
10. Security Risk Assessment: Perform risk assessments of SAP systems to identify vulnerabilities and recommend measures to mitigate potential risks.
11. Vendor Management: Coordinate with SAP vendors to stay informed about security updates and patches, ensuring that the SAP system remains protected against emerging threats.

Qualifications:

1. Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications in SAP security (e.g., SAP Certified Technology Associate - SAP Security) are a plus.
2. Experience: Prior experience in SAP security administration, logical access management, or related roles is highly desirable.
3. SAP Security Skills: Proficiency in SAP security concepts, user administration, role management, authorization objects, and SAP security best practices.
4. IT Security Knowledge: Familiarity with IT security principles, standards, and frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST Cybersecurity Framework) is beneficial.
5. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess security risks and propose effective solutions.
6. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with various stakeholders and articulate complex security concepts to non-technical audiences.
7. Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to accurately configure and review user access and authorization settings.
8. Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and maintain a positive working relationship with colleagues.
9. Certifications: Any relevant cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM) will be considered an advantage.
