Company Overview:Our client is a Real Estate Investment Fund based in Dubai, that manages a well-diversified portfolio of income-generating real estate assets across various sectors including residential, commercial and industrial properties.We are seeking a highly-skilled and experienced Legal Counsel to join the team. The Legal Counsel will be responsible for providing legal advice and support to the fund related to corporate and commercial transactions, mergers and acquisitions, compliance, regulatory matters and risk management. The role requires a strong legal background with a focus on real estate and corporate law.Key Responsibilities:.Advise on legal matters relating to the funds investment activities and corporate transactions, including due diligence, legal and regulatory compliance, and contract negotiation.Provide legal support to ensure that the fund complies with all applicable legislation and regulations.Advise on corporate governance matters, including board and shareholder meetings, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations..Provide legal support for the companys compliance with regulatory requirements-monitoring compliance with Anti-Money Laundering (AML)-Know-Your-Customer (KYC) regulations..Draft and review legal documents including contracts, leases, and agreements.Advise on legal risks associated with acquisitions, investments, and other business activities.Support the risk management framework by identifying, assessing, and managing legal risks, and advising on appropriate risk mitigation strategies.Requirements:.Bachelors degree in Law or equivalent qualification.Minimum of 7-10 years of experience as a legal counsel or corporate lawyer, with a focus on real estate law.Knowledge of fund structures, regulations and frameworks in Dubai and the UAE.Experience working with local regulators .Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong interpersonal and communication skillsHalian GroupWith over 20 years of experience, we have come to understand that innovation is the only way to provide agile, practical solutions that transform businesses and careers.Our resourcing and smart services help you to realize tomorrows potential.
