Job Description

Job and Responsibilities:1. Corporate Governance & Compliancea) Ensure the company complies with legal and regulatory requirements.b) Assist in preparing and filing legal documents with government and regulatory bodies.c) Coordinate with regulatory authorities on licensing, renewals, and legal updates.2. Board & Executive Supporta) Organize, attend and prepare agendas and papers for board meetings, committees, and annual general meetings (AGMs).b) Take accurate minutes of meetings and ensure timely distribution.c) Follow up on board and committee decisions to ensure implementation.3. Legal Administrationa) Draft, review, and format legal correspondence, contracts, MOUs, NDAs, and other legal documents.b) Coordinate with internal departments and external legal counsel as needed.c) Manage legal files, maintain confidentiality, and ensure document retention.d) Bank and Other KYC Updation.e) Follow up with lawyer for Ongoing legal cases.4. Risk & Contract Managementa) Track contract lifecycles, renewals, and obligations.b) Assist with due diligence and audits, particularly during regulatory inspections or accreditation processes (e.g., JCI).5. Stakeholder Coordinationa) Serve as a liaison between legal, compliance, medical, and administrative departments.b) Support legal communication with external parties, including government authorities, insurance providers, and legal firms.c) Handling all Legal and Compliance related to offshore companies.Qualifications:a) Bachelors Degree in Law, Business Administration, or related field (Legal or Paralegal certification preferred).b) Minimum of 5+ years experience as a Legal Secretary or Company Secretary, preferably in a healthcare or regulated industry in the UAE.c) In-depth knowledge of UAE labor law, corporate law, and healthcare regulations.d) Proficient in English; Arabic is an advantage.e) Strong organizational communication and time management skills.f) High level of discretion and confidentiality.g) Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal documentation software.Desirable Attributes:a) Experience supporting hospital boards or healthcare executives.b) Familiarity with free zone authority regulations (e.g., DHCC).c) Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working under pressure.
