Job Description

Learning Support Assistant | Deira International School | DubaiAbout the role:To actively promote a positive approach to learning and wellbeing in assisting and leading classroom activities and routines.Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspire a love of learning in all children
  • Support a range of students within the school in improving their social skills, gross and fine motor skills and subject knowledge
  • Lead sessions with groups of students, carefully differentiating and assessing progress
  • Supervise students in class, between classes, during lunch and break times
  • Assist teachers in preparing for lessons
  • Effectivelyrespond to the needs of the children by providing appropriate intervention to enable them to overcome any barriers to learning
  • Ensure the classroom environment meets policy and standards for safety, cleanliness and general high standards
