Learning Resources Coordinator - Abdulla Bin Otaiba Charter School - (22000066)DescriptionAldar Education is currently seeking a Learning Resources Coordinator for Abdulla Bin Otaiba Charter School in Abu Dhabi for an immediate start.We are looking for someone who is confident in using technology and willing to learn new programs; capable of disseminating technological knowledge to staff within the school. We are looking for someone who can lead a small team, collaborate well with other departments within the school with a strong organizational and strategic approach to facing tasks and able to multi-task during busy times. Our ideal candidate will be positive, with a flexible approach to work. We are a busy and aspirational school, so above all, an awareness that children?s learning needs come first.Abdulla Bin Otaiba School has been open 2.5 years, it follows the US Curriculum and is a large and thriving Charter School, with @ 1500 students.The successful candidate will have a ?can do? attitude, as life in a Charter School can be challenging at times, but equally highly rewarding, as our impact upon student learning is clearly visible every day. To lead the training on these programmes to the Learning Resource team, disseminating school specific technology, strategies, and knowledge Resources: To lead the team in cataloguing all resources across school; to ensure correct utilization of resources; to work with IT to ensure appropriate working condition of all resources; to facilitate resource ordering across school; to liaise with sales representative from education companies in order to share information with school leaders.Educational Visits: To support school leaders with Educational Visit paperwork.School Library: To work with school leaders to align library resources to curriculum units, with the support of educational team.External Assessment: To support school leaders in all aspects of external assessments and supporting students with specific needs.Social Media postings ? To work with school leaders and lead the Learning Resource team to make collages and videos to share with the school community.QualificationsRequirements:

• Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor?s degree certificate.
• Minimum Experience: 1-year experience in the same field.
• Job Specific Knowledge & Skills:
• Strong English communication skills, written and oral
• Arabic speaker is preferable
• Strong interpersonal skills to aid in daily contact with parents in a diverse multi-cultural environment.
• To demonstrate an ability to coordinate staff, work in a proactive manner and lead a team
• Excellent organizational/ office management skills. To be able to keep accurate records and be able to produce reports, including recommendations.
• To demonstrate a high level of IT skills, including knowledge, experience, and interest in e-learning resources and new technologies.
• To show a commitment to continuing personal professional development.
