Customers are provided with peace of mind needed to reliably and efficiently improve operations.Lead our product developmentAs a Lead Engineer - Controls Engineering, you will be responsible for:

  • Apply electrical engineering principles to analyze, propose, design, test and troubleshoot controls systems associated with Industries such as Power, Oil & Gas, LNG, Fertilizers, Water Treatment, Chemicals or Paper/Pulp etc.
  • Review contract documentation, customer specifications and experience in creating equipment specifications and detailed design documentation for the development of appropriate control solutions.
  • Design/Implementation of Gas / Steam Turbines, Generator and Compressor Controls Systems retrofit and upgrades.
  • Design/Implementation of plant control systems {Distributed Control System (DCS), Programable Logic Controller (PLC)} in above mentioned industries to work in brown or green field projects.
  • Design/Implementation of Safety Integrated Level (SIL) Loops and various third part interfaces such as OPC, Modbus etc.
  • Analyze various sub-systems or auxiliary controls for brown or green field projects.
  • Review process requirements and implement required control strategies.
  • Interpret and translate specific customer requirements into series of actions with quality deliverables.
  • Provide technical leadership to the project engineering team on the control design aspects.
  • Support controls retrofit/green field projects starting from the ITO (Inquiry to Order) up to final delivery of the equipment.
  • Support customer meetings, Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Integrated-FAT of control systems.
  • Support field services team on project installation & commissioning.
  • Travel as required for supporting field services team, Sales Team or customer meetings.
  • Work with headquarters and other regional teams ensuring global standards on processes and best practices.
  • Apply knowledge of industry practices and international standards to produce high-quality and cost-effective designs.
Fuel your passionTo be successful in this role you will:
  • Have 8+ years of relevant industry experience with a bachelor?s or master?s degree in instrumentation & Controls or equivalent.
  • Have knowledge & experience with control system design of Gas Turbines, Steam turbines, Centrifugal Compressors, Power Management Systems, Distributed Control Systems, Generator protection and control products.
  • Have knowledge & experience on HMI, Networking, 3rd Party communication interface like MODBUS, OPC, IEC61850 etc protocols.
  • Hands on experience in the design of Speedtronic MarkVIe Controls and Nexus Oncore systems or equivalent control systems.
  • Have Knowledge of Plant automation controls, Functional Safety, Industrial Cyber Security design standards and operation.
  • Have written and spoken communication skills in English, with demonstrated capability to structure and write technical material.
  • Be a self starter with minimal supervision requirement & able to work independently
  • Have excellent communication and presentation skills to articulate highly technical information in a clear, concise manner
  • Be willing to travel as required for supporting field services team, Sales Team or customer meetings
