Job Description

Job PurposeProvide technical leadership for Electrical engineering within FEED and Detail Engineering projects in the Oil & Gas sector in accordance with international IEC/ NEC/ ADNOC etc. Codes and standards.Define Electrical design bases, codes, standards, and deliverables to ensure safe, reliable, and cost-effective solutions.Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams (process, mechanical, civil, Piping, instrumentation) and vendors to ensure integrated Electrical systems.Mentor engineers, drive quality, and ensure schedule adherence for Electrical deliverables across project phases.Work experience in ADNOC projects is preferred.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide technical expertise and leadership in all electrical engineering aspects of the ADNOC projects both ONSHORE & OFFSHORE.Lead the electrical design and engineering team to ensure project deliverables are met within the specified timeline and budget.Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.Conduct technical reviews, analysis, and assessments to ensure compliance with industry standards and project requirements.Develop and review electrical engineering drawings, specifications, and reports.Provide guidance and mentorship to junior electrical engineers and support staff.Develop and implement electrical engineering strategies and plans to meet project objectives.Review and approve technical specifications, drawings, and calculations for electrical systems.Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations in all electrical engineering activities.Coordinate with clients, vendors, and subcontractors to address electrical engineering requirements and resolve technical issues.Participate in project meetings, progress reviews, and risk assessments to provide input on electrical engineering matters.Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor the progress and quality of electrical installations.Support procurement activities by preparing technical specifications, evaluating bids, and selecting electrical equipment and materials.Assist in the preparation of project proposals, cost estimates, and schedules related to electrical engineering scope.Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices in electrical engineering to drive innovation and efficiency in project delivery.ExperienceExperience: 15+ years of experience in FEED and Detail Engineering and EPCM experience in the Oil & Gas industry.ADNOC EPC/PMC experience are highly preferredDemonstrated track record delivering Electrical design and integration on FEED/detail projects.QualificationsEducation: Bachelor of Electrical Engineering in a related field.Minimum of 15 years of experience in electrical engineering within the oil and gas industryPrevious experience in FEED, design, onshore, and brownfield projectsTechnical SkillsStrong knowledge and experience in electrical engineering principles and practicesProficiency in electrical design software and toolsExcellent communication and leadership skillsAbility to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesSoft SkillsLeadership & Mentorship: Strong leadership to guide Electrical teams and cross-functional groups.Communication: Clear, concise communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.Problem Solving: Proactive identification and mitigation of Electrical-related risks.Project Management: Planning, scheduling, risk management, and deliverable tracking.Influence & Collaboration: Effective collaboration with clients, vendors, and internal teams.Adaptability: Comfort in dynamic project environments and changing technical requirements.Attention to Detail: Rigorous approach to reviews, calculations, and documentation.Safety Mindset: Commitment to health, safety, and environment (HSE) standards.
