Landscape DraftsmanJob Location : United Arab EmiratesKey Responsibilities:•Create detailed construction drawings and technical plans for residential and commercial landscape projects using AutoCAD or similar CAD software.•Translate conceptual designs, sketches, and client specifications into precise technical drawings, including planting layouts, hardscape features, irrigation systems, and grading details.•Conduct site visits to collect topographical and survey data for drafting reference.•Collaborate with landscape designers, engineers, and contractors to ensure design intent is accurately represented and implemented.•Prepare material quantity take-offs and assist with procurement planning based on approved drawings.•Revise and update drawings as required during project development and construction phases.•Maintain and submit accurate as-built drawings reflecting field conditions and changes.•Ensure all drawings comply with local building codes, industry standards, and company procedures.•Provide timely technical support and address design/drawing-related queries from project stakeholders.•Maintain proper documentation and filing of all project-related drawings.Qualifications & Experience:•Education: Diploma in Drafting, Architectural Studies, Civil Engineering, or related field. Drafting and Design certification preferred.•Experience: Minimum of 5 years experience in Computer-Aided Drafting (2D and 3D) with a focus on landscape, civil, or architectural projects.•Proficiency in AutoCAD is required; knowledge of other landscape-specific CAD tools is an advantage.•Experience with ProjectWise or other document management systems is desirable.•Strong knowledge of landscape construction techniques, plant materials, and irrigation systems.Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:•Excellent drafting and technical drawing skills with attention to detail and accuracy.•Solid understanding of construction principles, especially in landscape and civil works.•Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.•Effective written and verbal communication skills.•Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.•Problem-solving skills with adaptability to changing project requirements.•Computer literacy with proficiency in MS Office and CAD software.•Cross-cultural agility and team collaboration.•High emotional intelligence and interpersonal sensitivity.•Strong work ethic with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
