Job Description

Job SummarySets strategic direction and leads an entire region or large business unit or function, including responsibility for operational, financial and people results.

  • Set the Landscape studio vision in collaboration with peers and leadership.
  • Innovate and be an advocate of new landscape architecture ideas and strategies.
  • Deliver financial results as per plans and mitigate any shortfalls.
  • Report on utilization issues and ensure team?s mitigation of the any shortfalls.
  • Disseminate cash collection targets and follow up with project leads to ensure compliance.
  • Continuously develop the urban design practice and set up strategies, business development and implementation plans.
  • Assess available backlog and identify gaps and establish mitigation and business development measures.
  • Coordinate between practice lines and create synergy where needed.
  • Develop geographical market studies and portfolio of potential projects and client.
  • Coordinate with other geographies and other offices and establish an understanding of available expertise across the globe.
  • Drive specialism in design staff to cover various market sectors if possible.
  • Attend and report back to teams leadership meetings and disseminate actions.
  • Be present at key presentations to Senior client stakeholders and present when necessary.
  • Lead client account management across the studio and assist in maintaining positive feedback
  • Maintain healthy work environment across various offices and propose continuous improvement plans.
  • Innovate and implement solutions to increase efficiency and quality in performance and delivery
  • Provide ultimate review and input during submission of project deliverables and proposals inline with the business, financial, and other set plans.
  • Establish the urban design practice design ethos in the geography and review projects design directions accordingly
  • Maintain calendar of creative and project performance reviews and report to management
  • Establish urban design team structure, skill gaps and contribute to sourcing and recruiting processes.
  • Report back to management on diversity and inclusivity in the work environment.
  • Report and assist in resolving internal behavioural conflicts between staff and establish a collaboration ethics.
