Job Description

Position SummaryThe Lab Instructor, Computer Information Science supports faculty and students within the Computer Information Science program areas by maintaining the colleges laboratories and workshops. The incumbents scope of work includes the installation, demonstration, maintenance and trouble-shooting of equipment and facilities. This is a hands-on role which will have the Lab Instructor working closely with faculty and students in the laboratory. The incumbent sets up the lab in preparation for experiments and will include up to 10 hours per week of instructional duties.Requirements

  • A Bachelors Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or other relevant discipline is required
  • A Masters Degree in a relevant discipline is desirable
  • Membership to a relevant internationally-recognized professional association is highly desirable
  • Current advanced industry certifications such as Microsoft, Cisco, Security/Networking, Server and/or Hardware are preferred?
