In addition, there?s seven exclusive Malakiya Villas, over 50 world-class restaurants and bars, a traditional souk, 3km of waterways with abras, a leading conference and banqueting center, 2km of private beach, the award-winning Talise Spa, and the Talise Fitness health club.About the JobAn exciting opportunity has arisen for Kitchen Technician to join our Engineering Team in Jumeirah Al Qasr and Dar Al Masyaf HotelYour main duties will include:

  • Knowledge of kitchen equipment?s repairs, maintenance, and installation techniques.
  • Knowledge in the operation of electrical control systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, schematics, and written reference material.
  • Diagnose and repair malfunctions in various types of kitchen and Laundry equipment?s systems.
  • Install new kitchen and laundry equipment and systems when required.
  • Relocate and expand existing kitchen and laundry equipment and systems as required.
  • Repair, replace, or calibrate controls, thermostats, switches, fuses, and electrical wiring.
  • Maintain preventive maintenance schedules and procedures for all kitchen and laundry equipment.
  • Perform all scheduled preventive maintenance and cleaning on all kitchen and laundry equipment as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records on material and labour used.
  • Detect needed repairs on equipment following established inspection procedures.
  • To ensure safe working conditions for yourself and your colleagues and report to senior colleagues any unsafe working conditions.
  • Be familiar with and comply with all relevant Engineering Department policies, processes, and procedures.
About you:The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
  • 1 Year formal training (certified) in Kitchen engineering.
  • Diploma Or Technical Institute certificate.
  • Min 3 years experience in hotel engineering field or 5 years general engineering
