Job Description

Responsible for designing, organizing, modifying, and supporting a companys computer systems. Designs and installs LANs, WANs, Internet and intranet systems, network segments, and retail POS system This includes installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading all hardware and equipment (including but not limited to PC, terminals, printers, Blackberry, and scanners) to ensure optimal workstation performance.?Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Manage and troubleshoot issues related to email servers (Exchange) and email related services
  • Create and allocate virtual instances of servers
  • Regularly patch updates on desktops and servers
  • Manage and troubleshoot NAS Storage
  • Active monitoring of servers and network devices for pro-active maintenance
  • Setup, install, and maintain POS machines
  • Plan and implement IT-related tasks for stores opening and closing
  • Provide investigation, diagnosis, resolution, and recovery for hardware/software problems. When unable to resolve, escalate to second or third level in accordance with Help Desk escalation processes.
  • Ensure that the Company?s confidential data/information is not provided to any unauthorized staff unless the email or written approval is there from HOD/CEO
  • Carry?out any other job/s entrusted?to you by your supervisor from time to time
