• Administer full life cycle for vendor management processes and incorporating best practices
• Implement & manage controls per Sourcing & Compliance guidelines for vendors by utilizing standard tools
• Monitor high value Global contracts and assure the governance process with regards to pricing and invoicing
• Analyse vendor management programs and identify continuous improvement processes

• a) To build strong relationships with the key stakeholders and follow IT demand management process of capturing, documenting, suggesting potential alternatives if needed, prioritizing and reporting on ongoing initiatives in alignment to policies and guidelines.b) Provide strategic direction for company-wide procurement efforts; participate with IT Pillar leads in the establishment, communication, and implementation of business goals. Establish business targets for cost savings.c) Coordinate the procurement side of technical proposal preparation and ensure that the best options are secured with longest possible validities, and shortest deliveries to meet operational targets.d) Act as negotiator between PIL and vendors/suppliers on procurement contracts; stay informed on all new developments relative to available resources; make recommendations designed to reduce costs, update systems, and provide environmentally approved materials and services.e) Participate in identification of suppliers by researching product availability. Create vendor list and issue solicitation documents to vendors to procure goods in compliance with procurement procedure.f) Solicit bids from vendors. Prepare RFQ?s (Request For Quote) and issue to prospective vendors. Review vendor responses for compliance with requirements, perform pricing analysis, recommend contract awards that result in best value procurement. Conduct commercial negotiation and conclude on techno commercial requirements. Make purchasing decisions based on specific strategy, need and business policy.g) Review and negotiate contracts with large-scale suppliers to achieve appropriate savings and service levels. Review major project procurement contracts; coordinate contract compliance, change orders, and problem resolution in conformance.h) Conclude negotiations and obtain award acceptance form the bidder. Locate and source with alternate suppliers in case of problems with primary suppliers. Perform pre walk for checklist to make vendors understand the scope. Preparation of contract terms, conditions and commercial schedules.i) Provide periodic feedback to the vendors on their performance in formal bid openings. Communicate what went wrong with an unsuccessful bidder and encourage for future bidding.j) Transform pre order commitment from vendor into formal purchase order document. Match the purchase order and forward to the accounts department for payment. Resolve invoice discrepancies to ensure accurate accounts payable records are maintained.k) Keep track of the delivery date and continuous follow ups with the vendors. Update he status to IT Pillar leads through dash boarding and intelligent reporting. Manage interaction with vendors and monitor vendor performance after completion of the deliveries wrt quality, schedule, deliverables, service and performance. Communicate qualitative feedback to the vendors.l) Work with IT Pillar leads standardizing the technical speciation?s globally and aligned to IT strategy.m) Survey markets for price and delivery information of major raw materials like technology-related items, etc.n) Ensure functionality of procurement cycle software and hardware systems. Resolve operational issues; implement changes as necessary.o) Communicate strategic issues/changes to team; build commitment and confidence. Resolve complex system or process issues; perform regular team duties.p) Monitor and communicate team goals and achievement of goals on a regular basis; keep the purpose, goals and approach relevant and meaningful. Administer the system of team measures; track all measurement data; provide feedback to team members and Management on overall performance.q) Establish and implement short and long-range organizational goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures; monitor and evaluate operational effectiveness; effect changes required for improvement.r) Recommend and participate in the development of policies and procedures.s) Analyse bid tabulations for compliance with established procedures, in order to achieve optimum selection decisions

• Bachelor?s degree from an accredited college, or university in Computer Science or a related discipline .
• Understanding of Oil & Gas field services business practices

• 5+ years of working within professional, enterprise level IT Org & Intimate knowledge of an organisation?s procurement & sourcing systems
• General IT Skills, relevant expertise to manage and deliver IT procurement Support.
• Ability to work in a team environment and develop relationships, especially with geographically disbursed teams.
• Strong problem-solving capability with proactive and logical approach.
• Excellent attention to detail and good communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with leadership team, stakeholders, third parties and clients.
• Keep abreast of market developments and proactively apply these within the business
