Job Overview:A private entity in Dubai is seeking an Emirati IT Security Specialist with strong experience in banking and financial institutions. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in IT security management and demonstrated leadership or team leadership capability to support and strengthen the organization’s cybersecurity posture.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage IT security initiatives aligned with business and regulatory requirementsDevelop, implement, and maintain security policies, standards, and proceduresConduct risk assessments, security reviews, and compliance checksMonitor and respond to security incidents, investigations, and remediation plansCoordinate with IT teams and stakeholders to ensure secure systems and operationsSupport audits, reporting, and continuous improvement of security controlsGuide or mentor team members and drive security awareness across the organizationRequirements:Nationality: Emirati (UAE National) – mandatoryExperience: Minimum 5 years in banking/financial institutions + proven IT security leadership/team leadership experienceBachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related fieldStrong knowledge of IT security management practices and governanceStrong communication, coordination, and reporting skillsLanguages: Arabic & English (mandatory)Salary & Benefits:Salary: To be determined after the interviewAdditional benefits as per company policy and UAE labor law
