IT Project ManagerThe project manager is expected to be able to manage projects in a professional manner by performing the following project-based tasks:•Understand and effectively master the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).•Manage all phases of assigned IT projects, including initiation, planning, execution, implementation, and post-implementation activities, leveraging best practice standards and processes.•Be accountable for the development and documentation of project plans, work break down structures, stakeholder analysis, risks and issues logs, communication plans and other documents as per the best practice in conjunction with project team members and other involved IT and business teams.•Apply project management tools to manage all aspects of project progress and create project status reports highlighting critical issues for management and overall status of the project.•Have all project documents methodically saved in project repository as per organisation practice•Manage project closure activities including sign-off and ensure that all project deliverables are completed and handed over according to contractual requirements.Requirements :•Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering,•PMP/Scrum Master Certification; at least one but both preferred•Atleast 6 years of experience as project Manager.•Ability to foresee project risks and take or initiate appropriate actions.•Timely escalations of matters related to IT Projects which needs decision beyond the resource’s decision authority.•Analytical thinking skills with demonstrated talent for identifying, scrutinizing, improving, and streamlining complex work processes.•Computer-literate performer with extensive software proficiency covering a wide variety of application platforms.•High level knowledge of IT infrastructure.•Ability to manage software development projects using agile project management methodology.•Nationality – ArabContract – Long termSalary – AED 35000Note – Dubai government experience preferredLocation: UAE
