Job Position – IT OfficerCompany Name – Bin FadelLocation – Abu DhabiAn American Curriculum School in Abu Dhabi is seeking a IT Officer to support both Staff and pupils at a school. You will be responsible for managing educational data (School Management System) whilst ensuring the school remains compliant in all ICT security and governance.Primary responsibilities and duties:• Hands-on experience in maintaining ICT Infrastructure (Servers/Operating Systems/ mail Servers, Data & Voice Structure cabling, Network Switches, Wireless Networks, Firewalls, PCs, Laptops, IPADs, Printers, Interactive Panels, Video Conferencing Systems, Digital Signage, AV equipment’s, etc.• Expert in Office 365, Active Directory, Collaboration, and Distance Learning Platforms such as MS Team, Seesaw, Class Dojo, etc.• Configuration of School Timetables and posting on the school portal / App. • Actively Coordinate with Faculty and Report Cards generation from School Management System• Knowledge of Firewall / Antivirus systems / Email Archiving / Backup Systems/ CCTV / Biometrics / IP, Telephone Systems• Identity Card Systems and Access Control. • Conduct training on the appropriate use of systems; attend the Academy’s leadership team meetings where the systems are discussed; advise senior staff and Governors; negotiate with suppliers and external contractors.• Maintain websites, web content, maintaining web design on WordPress.• Investigating and diagnosing network problems and daily, and weekly reporting to IT Manager.• Excellent Communication Skills both verbal and written• Ability to explain technical issues clearly.• Up to date with the latest developments.Educational Qualification:• Should be a bachelor’s degree in computer/Network Hardware and Software related courses.• MCSE, CCNA, and Virtualization certification is preferred.• Can join Immediately.• A minimum of 2 years’ Experience in School is mandatory.
