We are seeking a skilled and proactive IT Officer to manage and support our organization’s IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining hardware and software systems, providing technical support to staff, ensuring network security, and implementing IT projects to enhance operational efficiency.Key Responsibilities:Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and network systems.Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to staff and users.Monitor network performance and security, implementing necessary updates and patches.Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights.Ensure data backups and disaster recovery plans are in place and tested.Maintain inventory of IT hardware and software assets.Assist in the planning and implementation of new IT projects.Develop and document IT policies, procedures, and standards.Conduct regular system and security audits.Stay updated with the latest technology trends and security threats.Qualifications:Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.Proven experience (typically 2+ years) in IT support, system administration, or related roles.Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, cybersecurity, and operating systems.Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Cisco CCNA, Microsoft certifications) are preferred.Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
