We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented IT Assistant to support our IT department in maintaining and troubleshooting hardware, software, and network systems. The ideal candidate will provide technical support to staff, assist with system maintenance, and ensure the smooth operation of IT infrastructure.Key Responsibilities:Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to staff and end-usersInstall, configure, and update hardware and software systemsMaintain and monitor computer networks and systems for optimal performanceAssist with setting up user accounts, permissions, and security protocolsMaintain inventory of IT equipment and software licensesDocument issues and resolutions in the support ticket systemConduct routine maintenance and backups of systems and dataAssist in the implementation of IT projects and upgradesEnsure cybersecurity best practices are followedCollaborate with IT team members to improve system efficiencyQualifications & Experience:Education: Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Specialist, etc., are a plusSkills: Basic knowledge of operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux)Familiarity with networking concepts and protocolsStrong problem-solving and communication skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamCustomer service-oriented mindset
