JOB SUMMARYThe IT analyst assistant role is a poly valent role between two main IT pillars: IT infra and Business Information Systems. The aim of the role is to provide support to users and maintain updated and efficient computer systems.ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES1.IT INFRA AND NETWORKING:?Set up and manage accounts of users, and configure workstations with necessary software installations (windows, Office 365, antivirus, etc?) following group guidelines?Support the users in using the devices?Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems (debugging, troubleshooting, etc.) related to Microsoft products or any other technical issue?Install and configure appropriate software according to group specifications?Train & explain the Microsoft office fundamentals skills?Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems?Ensure the respect of the safety rules in terms of data protection?Ensure data daily QNAPP back up is performed properly and replicated to Azure?Monitor and update Cisco switches & Fortigate firewall settings following group guidelines?Assist in Disaster Recovery project?Comply with updated group policies and guidelines2.Information Systems (JDEdwards):?Provide basic support on JDEdwards Eone?Follow up on daily and weekly alerts to make sure the problems are solved?Complete proper process documentation where needed?Assist in various projects and perform miscellaneous tasks upon needQUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS?Bachelors degree in computer science or any IT related field?Thorough knowledge of computer software and hardware and a variety of internet applications, networks, and operating systems?Knowledge in Microsoft products and licensing?Knowledge in QNAPP?Knowledge in Forti products especially Fortigate firewall is recommended?Basic knowledge in JDE is recommended but not compulsory?SQL knowledge is requiredCOMPETENCIES NEEDED?Attention to details?Problem solving?Communication skills?Adaptability
