Job Description

Our ClientOur partner is urgently looking to hire an Internal Revenue Accountant to be based in Dubai for initial 12 months contract with a possible extensions.Your Responsibilities

  • Act as a key Finance contact for all contracts within your assigned client base and ensure contract revenue complies with GAAP.
  • Responsible in determining terms, conditions, and schedules within the contract affect the financials.
  • Determining appropriate revenue treatment for client contracts, overseeing revenue billing backlog to ensure accuracy and timeliness of revenue recognition, reconciling client balances, and managing weekly projections and cash forecasts.
  • Managing client contract milestones by working with other clients associates to determine appropriate timelines to obtain completion documentation as well as assist with corporate statutory audit deliverables.
  • Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position.
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
  • Will be covering Australia clients.
Your Qualifications
  • With 4 years total combined higher education and related work experience, at least 2 years of in a revenue-focused Accounting role.
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
  • Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations.
