Interior DesignerJob Location : UAEJob Summary:•Create detailed shop drawings based on concept designs, images or 3D models for production•Develop joinery shop drawings and as-built drawings for client/consultant approval•Verify plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations•Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ) when required•Carry out site surveys and develop shop drawings and drafting as needed•Coordinate with Production Managers, Project Engineers, Designers and/or Clients for necessary updates and changes to shop drawingsRequired Skills:•Ability to work effectively under pressure and be highly flexible/adaptable•Effective communication and teamwork skills within a multicultural environment•Proficient knowledge of AutoCAD and detail drawings•Familiarity with DM regulations and standards•Multitasking, self-motivated and energetic team player with a flexible and adaptable approach•Strong practical organization skills, resource planning and scheduling•High proficiency in AutoCAD, Sketchup, 2D,3D and MS Office; additional IT skills are beneficialEducation/Experience Requirements:•Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Architecture or Interior Design, with relevant certifications•Minimum 3-6 years of professional experience as a Draftsman in interior fit-out/joinery•Extensive knowledge of materials and technical specifications related to interior design
