Instrumentaion and Control Design Engineer:We have an intresting job opportunity with one of our oil and gas clients who are looking for an experienced I&C Design Engineer.Job type: ContractLength of the contract: 3 months extendableLocation: UAEPlease note: The applicant must be in UAE to qualify for this position.Main Duties & Scope of Work:Preparing Engineering Design Deliverable Register (EDDR) for Instrumentation and Control.Preparing Detailed Engineering Deliverables and Vendor Documents ReviewLeading the Supervision and Preparation of the Detailed Engineering Documents.Implementing Site Survey in Bidding Stage and during ProjectsScope Identification and Variation Orders preparationTechnical Assessment for Vendor offers Against Project Specification.Estimation & Proposal Engineering; Issuing Technical queries & Man Hour estimation.Inspection & Testing at Supplier workshop (Factory Acceptance Test).Engineering Site/Construction Support.Commissioning and StartupRequired ExperienceExperience in Control & Instrumentation (Oil & Gas, Infrastructure Industries)Oil & Gas Control Systems (DCS, ESD, F&G, PMS, SCMS & VMS)Building Addressable Fire Alarm System and its interfacesTelecommunication Systems (Fiber Optic, CCTV, PAGA, Radio, etc)Field Instrumentation (Flow, Temp., Level, Pressure and Analytics) Detailed Engineering.Field Engineering and Support for Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning.Engineering Related to Compressor Packages, Including Compressor Logic, Cause & Effect Diagrams, wiring, Interlocks, Control Loops.International Standards and Client Specifications.Coordination with Project Management and other Disciplines to achieve Project Goals.Attention to Scope requirements, and cost variations IdentificationGood Understanding of Process Engineering Fundamentals including P&ID, PFD, & Control Philosophies.Education requirements:15+ Year Experience with Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Instrumentation, Electronic, Electric or Mechatronics).The design management role is fundamental, with a good attitude to support the site as an additional skill.To find out more about Progressive Recruitment, please visit www.progressiverecruitment.comAward winner of:KSA Recruitment Company of the Year, Best Executive Search Firm of the Year by TALint Recruitment Awards 2019/2020 | Best Engineering Recruitment Firm of the Year by Recruitment International Awards 2018
