Job Description

Summary The Information Technology Project Manager will plan, establish, and manage information technology (IT) projects and will serve as a liaison between the business and technical aspects of assigned projects.Responsibilities

  • Managing assigned IT projects to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and scope of project.
  • Implementing IT strategies that deliver projects on schedule and within budget
  • Developing RfI and RfP
  • Defining project scope, goals and deliverables.
  • Revising proposals and technically evaluating proposal for assigned projects including project objectives, technologies, systems, information specifications, timelines, funding, and staffing
  • Creating project plan timeline
  • Using project management tools to track project performance and deliverables and schedule adherence
  • Managing project team
  • Setting and tracking project milestones; manages and accounts for unforeseen delays, then realigns schedules and expectations as needed.
  • Conducting risk assessments for projects
  • Establishes and implements project communication plans, providing status updates to affected staff and stakeholders.
  • Collecting, analysing, and summarizing information and trends as needed to prepare project status reports.
  • Organizing meetings to stakeholders to present project goals and progress as well as problems and solutions
  • Implementing and managing change when necessary to meet project outputs
  • Evaluating and assessing the result of the project
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications Skills
  • Project management for planning & managing projects
  • Leadership skills, resource planning and task scheduling skills for managing teams
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to coordinate with team members and management and explain technical issues
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to handle any issues that occur during project completion
  • Organization and time management skills to keep projects on track and within budget
  • Organized with attention to detail.
  • Thorough understanding of project management principles and planning.
  • Thorough understanding of information technology procedures and practices.
  • Ability to motivate groups of people to complete a project in a timely manner.
Education:
  • Bachelors degree in Computer or Information Science-related field required; Masters degree preferred.
Certificate: PMI certification Experience:
  • 6 8 years experience as IT project Manager
  • Implementation of CRM systems like Microsoft Dynamics & low code platforms like Newgen & apian for large-scale environment and different stakeholders.
