Job Description

The RoleThe Marine Service Technician will perform maintenance and repairs on Honda outboard engines and Yanmar inboard diesel engines. The job holder must have high technical skills, experience and knowledge to diagnose, repair and install engines.Reporting to the Marine Sales & Aftersales Manager, your key accountabilities are as follow:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as lubricating, cleaning, repairing, and adjusting parts.
  • Test and repair Honda outboard engines and its rigging.
  • Test and repair Yanmar marine diesel engines and transmissions (Yanmar, ZF, Twin Disc...).
  • Disassemble and reassemble components and refer to service manuals for instructions and
  • specifications.
  • Use Honda and Yanmar diagnostic systems to precise the malfunction.
  • Consult with supervisor regarding installation or repair issues, sequence of operations, and time
  • required to complete repair or installation.
  • Identify the required parts for repair on and ensure the job is properly done from the first time.
  • Prepare and submit field service reports.
  • Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and
  • regulations.
