Job Details What you will doWe are looking for Fire Field Service Engineerfor the Global Marine & Navy business, to install, service and maintain our customer?s offshore assets in the Middle East area.You will be reporting to the Branch Manager, Global Marine & Offshore Services, based in Dubai, UAE. We look for a professional with a proven technical knowledge of Fire Detection and Suppression systems, able to deliver in a multicultural environment.How you will do itAs a Service Engineer you will use your strong technical knowledge to complete site activities including inspections, repairs, maintenance, installation, supervision and commissioning of various Fire Detection, Fire Suppression and Security systems. You will connect with customer on site and with Johnson Controls office support for accurate planning of execution and provide recommendations for follow-up actions. You will also promote our overall services and capabilities to growth relationships with the customers.You?re driven and consistent in your approach to work, prioritising multiple priorities simultaneously because of your excellent planning, and time leadership skills.What we look forRequired

  • Diploma / Bachelor degree in engineering (electrical, instrumentation or marine)
  • Demonstrated ability in servicing, maintenance, fixing electrical/ mechanical parts of Fire Fighting in Marine / Offshore sector
  • Ability to read and understand electrical drawing and reprogram/upgrade control panel
  • Ability to troubleshoot and service miscellaneous suppression systems, such as CO2, Watermist, Foam or Gaseous
  • Experience in handling reports & communications in a concise way.
  • Proficient language skills in English
  • Valid Driving License in UAE
  • Experience with Security or PA/GA systems is an advantage
  • Previous experience in Tyco fire product line
  • Capability to handle service
  • Clear understanding about SOLAS & various CLASS regulation
  • Preferred having Design capability in Fire Detection, Suppression system
  • Proficiency in Autocad will be an added advantage
