Job Description

Arabic In-house Illustrator | Al Futtaim Education Foundation | DubaiArabic In-house Illustrator | Al Futtaim Education Foundation | DubaiThe role:The role will work very closely with the Director of Arabic with a close collaboration with a small passionate team of education experts. The primary role will be developing content in Arabic, contributing to the development of marketing materials. The role will have the opportunity to lead small projects subject to performance and interest. The successful candidate will be working with a small team in an innovative and open culture where a creative and driven person will thrive. The projects that s/he will be exposed to will be impactful projects that serves the education landscape.Responsibilities:

  • Prepare rough sketches and storyboards according to requirements set out in detailed briefs
  • Combine hand-drawing and painting with digital media to create complete illustrations.
  • Colour & refine designs with illustration software.
  • Use various colours, graphics and effects to better visualize each story/ script.
  • Format images using computer-aided design software.
  • Participate in design briefs with directors, editors and/or marketers to identify their needs.
  • Conduct research when relevant to enhance illustrations and provide accuracy of depiction
  • Brainstorm with the design team to come up with new ideas, patterns and styles.
  • Stay up-to-date with new design techniques and software.
