HSE OfficerJob Location : UAEKey Responsibilities:•Policies and Procedures: Develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and risk management systems in line with national regulations and organizational requirements.•Health and Safety Inspections: Conduct regular health and safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards, non-compliance, and areas for improvement.•Emergency Protocols: Ensure that fire safety measures, emergency protocols, and first aid provisions are in place and up to date.•Training and Awareness: Provide training to staff on health, safety, and environmental practices, including emergency response, fire safety, and first aid.•Incident Investigation: Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses, preparing detailed reports and recommending corrective actions to prevent recurrence.•Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of safety audits, inspections, incidents, and training sessions.•Collaboration: Collaborate with facilities and maintenance teams to ensure all safety equipment is operational and safety standards are met across the premises.Requirements:•Certifications: NEBOSH certification is mandatory; additional safety certifications (e.g., IOSH) are an advantage.•Education: Bachelors degree in Occupational Health, Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field preferred.•Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as an HSE Officer, ideally in an educational or similar environment.•Knowledge and Skills: Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations and compliance, excellent communication skills, and the ability to conduct training and raise safety awareness among staff.
