Job Title: HSE Engineer / OfficerKey Responsibilities:Develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies and procedures in line with local regulations and international standards.Ensure compliance with NEBOSH, OSHA, ISO 45001, and other relevant standards.Conduct HSE training and awareness programs for staff and contractors.Monitor and control the use of safety equipment, PPE, and environmental measures.Maintain records of HSE performance, incidents, inspections, and regulatory compliance.Promote a safety-first culture among all employees and subcontractors.Key Skills & Competencies:Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulationsNEBOSH-certified with practical application of safety standardsRisk assessment, accident investigation, and incident reportingGood communication, training, and interpersonal skillsAnalytical and problem-solving mindsetAttention to detail and proactive approachAbility to work on-site in potentially challenging environmentsQualifications & Experience:Education: Degree in Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related fieldCertifications: NEBOSH or equivalentExperience: Minimum 2 years in HSE role, preferably in construction, oil & gas, or industrial projects
