HSE EngineerJob Location : UAEResponsibilities :•HSE Compliance: Ensure all pest control operations comply with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations. Develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies and procedures.•Risk Assessment: Conduct thorough risk assessments for pest control activities. Identify potential hazards and implement control measures to mitigate risks.•Training and Development: Provide training and guidance to pest control staff on safe work practices, emergency procedures, and the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).•Incident Investigation: Investigate and report on accidents, incidents, and near-misses. Develop corrective and preventive actions to avoid recurrence.•Environmental Protection: Monitor and manage the environmental impact of pest control activities. Ensure the safe handling, storage, and disposal of chemicals and other hazardous materials.•Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of HSE activities, incidents, inspections, and compliance audits. Prepare and present reports to management and regulatory bodies as required.•Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry best practices, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies. Propose and implement improvements to enhance HSE performance.•Emergency Response: Develop and oversee emergency response plans. Ensure staff are prepared to handle potential emergencies effectively.Qualifications:•Education: Bachelors degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field.•Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of UAE experience in HSE management, preferably within the pest control or related service industry.•Certification: Relevant HSE certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA) are highly desirable.•Skills: Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and best practices, excellent risk assessment and incident investigation skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse teams.•Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with pest control techniques, equipment, and chemicals. Proficiency in using HSE management software and tools.•Attributes: Detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of working independently and as part of a team. Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to continuous improvement.
