HSE EngineerJob Location : UAEKey Responsibilities:•Develop and implement HSE policies and procedures for civil and building projects with a focus on substation and work.•Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.•Create and maintain project-specific safety plans and risk assessments.•Conduct safety training and orientation for all project personnel.•Investigate incidents and accidents and develop corrective and preventive measures.•Ensure all safety equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE) are in good working condition and available for use.•Monitor and report on HSE performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.•Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with HSE requirements.•Stay updated on relevant HSE regulations and industry best practices and implement necessary changes to ensure compliance.•Promote a positive safety culture among all project personnel.Requirements:•Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.•Minimum 10 years of experience in HSE management in the construction industry with a focus on civil and building projects with substation and involved.•NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, ISO, or equivalent certification.•Accident Investigation certification from a 3rd party.•ADNOC approval as HSE Engineer will be an added advantage.•Strong knowledge of local and international HSE regulations and standards.•Proven ability to develop and implement HSE policies and procedures.•Experience in conducting safety training and incident investigations.•Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HSE software.
