Job Description

Overview / ResponsibilitiesWood is currently positioning for an Offshore Maintenance Services contract in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The Services comprise the provision of maintenance services of various offshore Equipments. If awarded work, we will have several requirements for Key Positions to join our team in country by June 2022.We invite expression of interest for a HSE Engineer to join our team to be accountable for Preventive maintenance, ad hoc Corrective maintenance and emergency maintenance servicesPlease note that at this stage, applications for this role are invited as an Expression of Interest (EOI) whilst opportunities are being fully determined.Job Responsiblities

  • Responsible for Safe execution of Jobs
  • Ensure Client WMS system is followed by Wood resources.
  • Carry out Audits on work at site to ensure that Work is executed.
  • Ensure 100% complianance to Client HSE guidelines.
  • Preparation of HSE reports for Campaign.
Skills / Qualifications
  • Bachelor Degree in relevant Engineering on Science discipline or equivalent.
  • 12 to 15 years? experience in Safety and Loss prevention of installations/equipment related to offshore oil & Gas industry.
  • Experienced in Offshore Oil and Gas Multidisciplinary activities HSE requirements, Hazard controls / Mitigations.
  • Minimum NEBOSH GC/IGC or Diploma in Safety/HSE.
  • Lead auditor ISO 14001 or OHSAS 18001 or equivalent is desired. Other HSE Trainings / Certifications will be added advantage.
  • Experienced in HSE Management System understanding and ability to develop, review and Implement HSE Plan for O&G Offshore facilities.
  • Experienced in implementing PTW system and Gas Testing.
  • Awareness on H2S & Breathing Apparatus.
  • Experience in conducting Risk Assessments,HSE Inspections, audits and reviews.
  • Experienced in analyzing incidents and apply different root cause analysis.
  • Very good knowledge of English language.
